EXHAUST SENSORS · NOx SENSOR · LAMBDA SENSORS
Sensor cables and connectors between the exhaust gas sensor system and the control electronics are customized to your specific requirements. The contact and insulation materials can withstand high exhaust gas temperatures, while maintaining low contact resistance.
Exhaust gas sensors measure within a range where even the slightest changes in signal matter. A fluctuating contact resistance in the connector distorts the measured value and affects engine control and exhaust aftertreatment. That is precisely why we develop and manufacture connectors that deliver low contact resistance throughout their entire service life.
This is ensured by using contact and conductor materials that can withstand the environmental conditions, such as high exhaust gas temperatures. The same requirements apply to lambda sensors and exhaust gas temperature sensors, which are also permanently located near the exhaust system.
Manufacturing is highly automated, with 100 percent process-integrated monitoring to ensure consistent quality.
Signals are continuously transmitted via our connection between the NOx sensor and the control electronics. The use of special contact and insulation materials ensures that the connection can withstand the high exhaust gas temperatures. This enables a particularly low contact resistance, which is necessary for reliable signal transmission. Our highly automated manufacturing process, featuring 100% process-integrated monitoring, ensures consistent quality.
Exhaust system
With each new emissions standard, the number of measurement points and the required measurement accuracy in the exhaust system increases. To meet these requirements, each measurement point needs a highly durable connection. Anyone designing an exhaust system today must account for more sensors, higher measurement accuracy with lower cross-sensitivity, tighter installation spaces, and higher loads.
Drawing on decades of experience and millions of produced sensor cable assemblies, we help develop reliable solutions for demanding applications. From in-house-developed components through prototype construction to high-volume production, the project remains entirely in-house. Testing and measurement technology, plant engineering, and manufacturing—all key competencies are available in-house.
