KE Elektronik relies on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to make communication with customers and suppliers more efficient and faster. We support various message standards, such as VDA and EDIFACT, as well as different communication protocols. TISAX
Through TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange), the ENX Association, on behalf of the VDA, facilitates the mutual recognition of information security assessments in the automotive industry. TISAX assessments are conducted by accredited audit providers who demonstrate their qualifications at regular intervals. TISAX and TISAX results are not intended for the general public.
At KE Elektronik GmbH, we place great value on the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information. We have implemented comprehensive measures to protect sensitive and confidential information. For this reason, we adhere to the Information Security Questionnaire of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA ISA). The assessment was conducted by an audit provider, in this case the TISAX audit provider operational services GmbH & Co. KG. Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)
KE Elektronik has AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) status and is therefore an “Authorized Economic Operator,” which is considered to be particularly reliable and trustworthy.
Certification is an important measure for ensuring the security of the end-to-end international supply chain.

Conflict Minerals
Amphenol is committed to meeting customer requirements and operating as a responsible company. In accordance with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), we have established a comprehensive program for managing conflict minerals. This program ensures that we do not knowingly use 3TG minerals—tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold—that originate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or a neighboring country and that are sourced from mining or trading activities directly or indirectly financed by armed groups. Each year, we actively survey our supply chain regarding the origin of 3TG minerals. As described in our current Conflict Minerals Report, we thereby ensure that the minerals come from a Responsible Country of Origin (RCOI) and that the required due diligence has been performed. Amphenol is also a member of the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), whose goal is to promote responsible practices and prevent social and environmental impacts during the extraction and processing of raw materials in supply chains.
