HISTORY

On the move since 1984.

A cable assembly company in Kressberg-Marktlustenau has grown into an international supplier with locations in six countries. Here’s an overview of its milestones.

1984

Founded by Wilfried Veeser. Main area of business: cable assembly.

1990

Construction of a production and administrative building in the Marktlustenau industrial park.

1996/97

Establishment of operating companies in Staré Sedliště and Ostrov, Czech Republic.

1998

Development of the first analog data-transmitting cabling (rearview camera)
First fully automated system with dual-sided component placement on the housing.

2000

Acquisition by Amphenol Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of connectors. In addition to its automotive division, Amphenol operates in seven other markets.

2002

Development of the first digital data transmission cabling based on the LVDS transmission protocol.
Scope of application: Wiring for the flip-up display in the cockpit.

2004

Establishment of a high-frequency laboratory in Marklustenau for measuring and testing data cabling.

2005

Introduction of the first fully automated system using the „reel-to-packaging“ process.

2006

Establishment of the operating company in Prešov, Slovakia.

2009

Introduction of the first robots in production.

2010

Establishment of the operating company in Changzhou, China.

2012

Establishment of the operating company in Monterrey, Mexico.

2014

Establishment of the operating company in Kocani, North Macedonia.

2016

Change of name from Konfektion E Elektronik GmbH to KE Elektronik GmbH.

2019

Construction of a new injection molding facility in Marktlustenau with a focus on automation technology.
