History

KE Elektronik has been the top-performing partner for all the best-known customers in the automotive and aviation industries since 1984. The success story began in the region of Heilbronn-Franken, in Kressberg-Marktlustenau. The company headquarters are located there to this day, with a worldwide presence established through manufacturing locations in five other countries.

Company was founded by Wilfried Veeser. Company activities focused on cable packaging.

1984

Due to increasingly positive order situation, the company moved to the industrial area of Marktlustenau. A production and administrative building was built in this location.

1990

Operating companies founded in Staré Sedliště and Ostrov, Czech Republic

1996/97

Development of the company’s first analogue data transmission cabling.
Scope: Rear view camera (black and white image)
First fully automatic system with the option of double-sided housing.

1998

Amphenol Corporation, a worldwide leading manufacturer of connectors, takes over >>Konfektion E<< Elektronik GmbH. Alongside the automotive division, Amphenol is active in seven other markets.

2000

>>Konfektion E<< Elektronik GmbH develops its first digital data transmission cabling with LVDS transmission protocol

2002

Construction of a high-frequency laboratory in Marktlustenau for measuring and testing data cabling.

2004

The first fully automated system with which the “Reel to Packaging” procedure was introduced.

2005

Founding of an operating company in Presov, Slovakia

2006

First robots are used in production.

2009

Founding of an operating company in Changzhou, China.

2010

Founding of an operating company in Monterrey, Mexico.

2012

Founding of an operating company in Kocani, North Macedonia.

2014

The company name changed from >>Konfektion E<< Elektronik GmbH to KE Elektronik GmbH. The original name was too strongly linked to the textile industry. We wanted to detach ourselves from this and highlight the reference to electronics.

2016

Newly built injection moulding hall with a focus on automation technology.
