These connectors transmit data in a vehicle between cameras, sensors and the relevant control units. These can be used in cameras, as well as Radar/Lidar systems. RF connectors are necessary for scanning the area, enabling semi-autonomous and autonomous driving. Depending on the area of application, we also have overmoulding solutions that offer advantages in terms of assembly space and impermeability. In order to meet and ensure the necessary quality requirements, these KE Elektronik connectors are joined to the data cables using full automation.  The quality requirements are also inspected in our high-frequency laboratory during manufacturing.

Our complex cable sets are used in classic and hybrid double-clutch transmissions as well as 8- and 9-speed automatic transmissions. Oil tightness and optimum connection technology under the most extreme conditions are of the highest technical relevance due to our many years of experience in this product sector. Signals are transmitted between NOx sensors and control electronics using our connection system. Special contact materials and housing materials are able to resist high exhaust-gas temperatures. By developing our own systems we achieve low and steady contact resistances, which are needed for the transmission of sensor currents. We can ensure a steady high quality, because our highly automated production possesses a 100% process integrated monitoring.

Our connecting cables for connection to engine cooling systems can be found in various engine class variants. The connectors, including seal, are automatically over-moulded in production cells with lead frame and liquid silicone LSR. Special process steps create the connection to the lead frame, strain reliefs and longitudinal water tightness.

Contactless and quiet opening and closing of the boot is ensured by electric spindle drives. We manufacture these cable harnesses and the corresponding components on automatic production lines. Process steps such as overmoulding inserts, automated clamp assembly, induction soldering and casting are carried out according to customer specifications.

The contact systems are specially designed for use in sophisticated applications and are suitable for all temperature ranges of the vehicle.
