Since 1984 successful in the automotive and aviation industry
For 35 years KE Elektronik creates strong connections in the automotive and aviation industry. The electrics and electronics supplier manufactures at seven plants in six countries. Currently around 3,000 employees contribute to the success of the Company.
On September 14, 2019 KE Elektronik celebrated its 35th anniversary. Invited were all employees, former employees who are now retired, municipal representatives, relatives and our neighbours. General Manager Gerhard Hammer started the celebration with a walk down memory lane and spoke about the history of the company. From the first steps as a cable manufacturer under the name >>Konfektion E<< Elektronik GmbH, to the current day as a world wide operating SME. Our focus today is fully automated injection moulding, cable handling as well as cable and connector technology. KE Elektronik is the biggest company in the municipal of Kreßberg. As the representative of the municipal, mayor Robert Fischer congratulated KE to its 35 year history.
Afterwards the main focus was robotics and cars. Visitors had the opportunity to check out the ABB truck and program a robot or have a look at the apprentices´ project: a robotic racetrack. Other highlights were: the race simulator where you could participate in a virtual race or the KE go-kart track.
For our little guest we offered a colourful children´s program. They could make their own wooden KE car or have some fun jumping up and down in the bouncing castle.
Besides entertainment, visitors could also go and explore the newly built injection moulding hall. Here they could find out more about the automatisation technology and the different production processes, which were well-established over the last years at KE Marktlustenau production.
Plenty of food and drinks were also served. Our guest could walk up and down the “Street Food Mile” and choose from different delicacies. Our own KE Band entertained the guest and created a great atmosphere. Our anniversary was a total success and we are sure our 600 guests most definitely would agree.
